Free the Children Today

In the past four years Free the Children has spread to more than 20 countries and is growing rapidly. It is now working on several issues concerning children. Youth representatives from Free the Children have become international spokespersons for children�s rights. They have built schools, created alternative sources of income for poor families, led campaigns against sweatshop and child labor, convinced governments to stiffen laws to charge tourists who sexually exploit children, are raising funds to build a peace center and have created an international network of children helping children.

Children. Free the Children believes that all young people should have a voice and the opportunity to participate in issues which affect them in their communities, their country and their world.
